3 years agoSan Jose Sharks winger Rudolfs Balcers will replace Jonathan Dahlen (upper body) on the top line Monday night against Carolina. Dahlen, who's tied for the team lead with seven goals, got injured in Saturday's 4-0 loss to Washington and is considered day-to-day. The Sharks are hoping to get him back later in the week. Until then, Balcers finds himself in a great spot to perform, as San Jose's first line has worked very well together this season. His new linemates Timo Meier and Logan Couture have combined for 29 points. Balcers boasts seven points for the season in 15 games with 32 shots and 35 hits.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
