4 years agoAtlanta Falcons wide receiver Russell Gage had a career day against Seattle, catching nine passes for a career-high 114 yards in a losing effort. Gage took a hard hit from safety Jamal Adams and was in the concussion protocol, but was cleared to return to the game. The 24-year-old amazingly saw the same number of targets as fellow wideouts Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley in a pass-happy game script. Gage saw 13 targets in his last game of 2019 and opened up 2020 with 12 targets, so it seems like Atlanta really likes what they have out of their third receiver. Gage could be a nice waiver wire pickup for those who need receiver help, as the Falcons may be playing from behind more than they'd like.
