3 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson (middle finger) "has a realistic chance to return in four weeks," according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Doctors initially believed that Wilson, who ruptured a tendon in his middle finger on Thursday night, would miss more than six weeks, but the quarterback's surgery on Friday offered a more promising timetable. Still, it's a crushing blow for the Seahawks and their signal-caller, who has never missed a practice through nine-plus seasons in the NFL. Geno Smith will start in his place for the time being. He falls into the low-end QB2 range thanks to the talented supporting cast that surrounds him.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
