Russell Wilson Is Close To 100%
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said on Thursday that quarterback Russell Wilson (finger) hasn't been limited in practice. Wilson was initially expected to miss six to eight weeks with a finger injury that required surgery, but it looks like he's going to beat that timeline. The veteran said he is feeling great and is around 90% recovered. As long as Wilson can make it through Friday's practice, it appears he will be the starter in Week 10. Fantasy managers in single-quarterback leagues should be comfortable throwing Wilson back into their lineups despite a tough road matchup versus the Green Bay Packers, and he should be considered a QB1 in all formats moving forward. His return will send Geno Smith back to the bench.
