Russell Wilson Officially Signs No-Trade Provision
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson officially signed his no-trade provision and passed his physical with the Denver Broncos, according to sources. The other players involved in the blockbuster deal must pass their physicals, but the two teams will now start the process to confirm the trade with the league. Seattle is sending Wilson and a fourth-round pick to Denver for quarterback Drew Lock, tight end Noah Fant, defensive lineman Shelby Harris, two first-round picks, two second-round picks and a fifth-round pick. The 33-year-old nine-time Pro Bowler provides an immediate boost to Denver's offense and their top three receivers -- Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy and Tim Patrick. Wilson wasn't the same after finger surgery down the stretch in 2021, but if he's fully healthy, he should be a strong QB1 option once the elite names come off the board in drafts.
