Russell Wilson Throws The Football On Tuesday
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson (finger) started throwing on Tuesday. On Monday, he had the pin removed from his surgically repaired finger and began tossing the football on Tuesday. The Seahawks have a bye in Week 9, and the team will have a chance to evaluate the quarterback during practice this week. Wilson spent three weeks on the injured reserve and can come off in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers. The 32-year-old has thrown for 1,196 yards, 10 touchdowns, and one interception while rushing for 68 yards and a score over five games in 2021. Wilson is trending in the right direction towards returning in Week 10; his eventual return boosts Seattle's offensive skill position players. Stay tuned.
