2 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll noted that quarterback Russell Wilson isn't dealing with the after-effects of his finger injury and doesn't believe that his recent struggles are related to offensive coordinator Shane Waldron's system "at all." "But the results are a little bit different," Carroll said, "and the accuracy thing, maybe there's a couple plays a game, and I think that there's a factor in there, some that we have to deal with that we really don't have control of like we wish we did." In five games before his finger injury, Wilson completed 72% of his 125 passing attempts for 1,196 yards, 10 touchdowns and one interception. In seven games since returning, he's completed only 60.9% of his 134 attempts for 1,443 yards, eight TDs and four picks. Losing running back Chris Carson (neck) likely played a part in the offense being less efficient and explosive, but Wilson's finger probably isn't 100% either. He's struggled in the second half, but he could have some nice QB1 upside in a Week 17 game against the Detroit Lions.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
