3 years agoRyan Blaney pulled off a brilliant maneuver on the restart at Michigan last week. He was then able to hold off Kyle Larson and William Byron by the slimmest of margins. That was the second checkered flag of the season for the Team Penske driver. Blaney often comes up with these performances out of nowhere seemingly. Then again, there was the 5th and 6th at Pocono along with back-to-back fifths at Atlanta and New Hampshire. The reality is that the No. 12 driver is thriving even with all the build changes and course adjustments. Blaney did finish eighth at Bristol after winning earlier in the year. He then lead 157 laps at Martinsville before his car got loose. Blaney can sustain this week.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
