Ryan Blaney Should Contend At Las Vegas
3 years agoRyan Blaney starts from the second position this Sunday night for the South Point 400 from Las Vegas. Some may forget that Blaney finished in the top-five during the first race earlier this season. Will Blaney win? That does seem unlikely. Will he contend? That is more likely for the Team Penske driver. Blaney got better and better as the first three races of the chase went on. That culminated in a fourth-place result and 45 laps lead at Bristol. Blaney has an average finish of 8.57 at Las Vegas the past three seasons. Again, the expectation is for the No. 12 to at least be a factor.
