Ryan Borucki Pitches Well In Second Career Start
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays pitcher Ryan Borucki made his second career start on Monday against the Detroit Tigers, and while his first start was solid, this one was great. Borucki allowed two earned runs in six innings against the Houston Astros with three strikeouts to four walks in his debut, but in his follow-up he pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs with eight strikeouts and zero walks. Borucki doesn’t have overpowering stuff, but he did demonstrate enough control in the minors to indicate he could have some Major League success. For now, continue to treat him as a streamer in attractive matchups.
