6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Ryan Borucki didn’t have the most desirable matchup for his MLB debut on Tuesday pitching in Houston against the Astros. Borucki was far from bad but took the loss nonetheless in the 7-0 defeat. He allowed only two earned runs across six innings pitched on six hits and four walks, striking out three. Not too shabby, but he certainly would have liked to get the win in this one. It sounds as if Borucki will continue to get the ball every fifth day with multiple injuries to Toronto’s rotation, but he likely won’t be much of a fantasy option.--John Smith
