6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starter Ryan Borucki surrendered two runs on three hits in 6 1/3 innings of work on Tuesday against the Boston Red Sox. Borucki registered five strikeouts while walking two in the 7-2 loss. He actually had a shutout going until the sixth inning, before a Steve Pearce RBI triple effectively ended his night. Borucki now has a 4.26 ERA on the season to go along with a 1.42 WHIP and 3-4 record. The 24-year-old has managed to toss three quality starts in his last four appearances, but he still remains a mediocre streaming option at-best. He projects to take on the lowly Baltimore Orioles on Monday.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
