Ryan Braun Breaks Out Of Slump With Three-Hit Game
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun went 3-for-3 with three runs, one RBI, two walks (one intentional) and one stolen base in the 8-3 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. Braun was recently moved to the five-hole, which is the first time he's moved out of the three-hole since July 4, 2016, in which he batted cleanup. The last time Braun batted fifth in the order goes all the way back to Sept. 23, 2014. In other words, Braun looks to have some newfound confidence and may bat fifth in the order going forward. In his last seven games, he is now batting .286 with five runs, two RBI, five walks and two stolen bases and should be inserted into most lineups.
