Ryan Braun Pulling Season Back Together With Hot Streak
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun went 2-for-3 with a run, an RBI, and two walks in the 5-2 win over the Kansas City Royals. On April 11, Braun was at a .167 batting average and was at risk of losing playing time to the likes of Domingo Santana, Eric Thames and Jesus Aguilar at their respective positions. However, Braun is now hitting .381 with two home runs and seven RBI in the last seven days and appears to be pulling his season back together after a slow start. Braun is easily too good of a batter to be stuck below .200 for the season, and he's now upped his season stats to a .239 batting average with five home runs and 15 RBI. Owners are now benefiting from their patience of hanging onto him, and he should continually be owned in all formats.
