7 years agoVegas Golden Knights forward Ryan Carpenter scored a late game-winner in Monday's 3-2 result against Philadelphia, breaking the tie with less than three minutes to go in regulation. It's a big result for the team on the final stop of a five-game road trip. Carpenter, who was waived by San Jose in January, has found himself a nice spot in Vegas, producing very well as a bottom-six forward. He was immense last month, scoring six goals and collecting 10 points in 13 games. As expected, he has cooled off this month, with only two goals and points so far, but he's doing much better than your average third-liner.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
