3 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers defenseman Ryan Ellis (lower body) is still not ready to return to the lineup on Wednesday against Toronto. He's been practicing with the team and there was a chance that he makes his comeback against the Maple Leafs but that won't be the case. Nick Seeler will continue in the lineup. Ellis is considered day-to-day and his return should be near. The Flyers finish the week with a back-to-back set, starting with Friday's road game against the Hurricanes, and Ellis might be back in one of the games. Kevin Hayes (abdominal surgery) has been practicing with the team as well, but he isn't expected to make his season debut until next week at the earliest.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
