3 years agoPhiladelphia Flyers defenseman Ryan Ellis (lower body) skated on Tuesday morning but will still be sidelined for Arizona's visit. The veteran blueliner will miss his fifth consecutive game. Ellis skated at Philadelphia's practice facility and will meet with doctors tonight regarding his lower-body injury. It will then be determined after practice tomorrow if Ellis travels on a two-game road trip to Pittsburgh and Washington. The former Predator has been unlucky with injuries early in the campaign as he was also dealing with a lower-body injury before the season started.
