6 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was reportedly nearly benched during Week 3 and was pulled at halftime during the blowout loss to Chicago on Sunday. Fitzpatrick opened the season with three straight games with over 400 years. Sadly, it looks like the "FitzMagic" has run out in Tampa Bay. Fitzpatrick went 9-for-18 with one interception and 126 passing yards before being benched for Jameis Winston in the second half. The Bucs head into a bye week now, but it's highly unlikely that we see Fitzpatrick start against the Falcons in Week 6. It sounds like fantasy owners are safe to drop Fitzpatrick. The Bucs have not made it official, but it would be odd if Fitzpatrick started again this season unless Winston gets hurt.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
