Ryan Fitzpatrick, Starters Will Play “As Much As They Need To”
3 years agoWashington Football Team head coach Ron Rivera has made it clear that the starters on offense will see some action in the preseason finale on Saturday night against the Baltimore Ravens. Although Rivera hasn't named a starting quarterback yet, it is clearly Ryan Fitzpatrick's job. Fitzpatrick should see a couple of drives with some of the starters, including Antonio Gibson, Terry McLaurin, and Logan Thomas. In his first two preseason starts, the veteran finished with 58 passing yards in Week 1 and 96 passing yards in Week 2. He figures to see limited action to close out the preseason, so there could be better options for any DFS contests. Taylor Heinicke has the No. 2 role locked up, so Steven Montez and Kyle Allen could both see some action under center to determine who gets the No. 3 spot on the depth chart.
