5 years agoThe mercy rule was finally invoked for Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick after he threw his second pick-six to put Miami down 37-0 to the visiting New England Patriots. The Dolphins offense was again completely impotent with Fitzpatrick under center, totaling only 28 yards in their first eight drives. And while their next two drives doubled up that production with 55 total yards, they both also ended with Fitzpatrick passes being returned for touchdowns by the Patriots. Even if Fitzpatrick manages to keep his starting job for Week 3 against Dallas, he will remain unviable in all fantasy formats.--Nicklaus Gaut - RotoBaller
