6 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter said quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick will start over Jameis Winston in Week 9 against the Panthers. Fitzmagic strikes again. The Bucs will apparently ride the hot hand on a week-to-week basis moving forward, and Fitzpatrick is definitely hot after leading the team back to tie the game late in Week 8 against the Bengals after Winston threw four interceptions. The 35-year-old journeyman QB has been better than Winston this year and opened the season with three straight weeks of 400-plus yards passing. He'll have QB1 appeal against this weekend against Carolina, so Fitz will certainly be a popular waiver addition with six teams on bye in Week 9.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
