The 38-year-old suffered a hip subluxation in the season-opening loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. An MRI would give a precise timeline of when the veteran quarterback will return from the injured reserve. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the situation, and Fitzpatrick is worth stashing in Superflex leagues. Taylor Heinicke will remain Washington's starting quarterback while Fitzpatrick is sidelined. He's thrown for 1,928 yards, 11 touchdowns, nine interceptions while rushing for 232 yards, and a score over eight games in 2021.
