Ryan Fitzpatrick Works His Magic In Week 16
4 years agoMiami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick took over for rookie Tua Tagovailoa late in the fourth quarter. The rookie quarterback was unable to get this offense anywhere, so the Dolphins felt it was time for a change. As usual, Fitzpatrick came in and look like a Hall of Fame quarterback. He completed nine of 13 passing attempts for 182 yards and one touchdown. He completed a deep shot to Mack Hollins that resulted in a facemask as well. That play got the Dolphins close enough to kick the game winning field goal and beat the Las Vegas Raiders. Surprisingly, the Dolphins have named Tagovailoa the starter for the Week 17 matchup versus the Buffalo Bills. You have to feel bad for Fitzpatrick who has regularly looked better than Tagovailoa this season.
