7 years agoFree-agent wide receiver Ryan Grant signed a one-year deal worth $5 million with the Indianapolis Colts on Tuesday, per NFL Network analyst James Jones. The payout is significantly lower in value than his would-be deal in Baltimore, but Grant will get a shot to hit free agency again after this one-year, prove-it deal with the Colts. Grant adds depth to a paper-thin receiving corps in Indianapolis. Grant is unlikely to generate much value unless he can overtake Chester Rogers at the No. 2 spot on the depth chart, but there is still plenty of time for the former Washington Redskin to show he deserves more playing time.--TMax-12
