3 years agoNew York Jets tight end Ryan Griffin entered this Week 9 matchup with 10 total receptions on the season. However, Griffin saw more action than expected due to the fact Tyler Kroft (chest) exited and didn't return to the contest. Griffin hauled in four of his seven targets for 28 yards and one touchdown in the win. This game set a bunch of season highs for Griffin because he wasn't involved much in the offensive gameplan before this contest. It's uncertain if Kroft will be able to suit up for the Week 10 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Regardless, it's tough to imagine Griffin having TE2 appeal even as the starting tight end.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
