5 years agoNew England Patriots tight end Ryan Izzo caught a touchdown in Week 5 and could be looking at an expanded role in the offense moving forward. The team just announced they have released veteran tight end Benjamin Watson and Izzo has 80 receiving yards combined with one touchdown over his last two games. The rookie will face a Giants Defense on Thursday that has allowed 16th fewest fantasy points to the tight end position this season. It may not be an ideal matchup but Izzo's targets could be on the rise. He is not fantasy viable at this time but his role could be expanded moving forward.--Joey C - RotoBaller
