4 years agoWashington Redskins defensive end Ryan Kerrigan spoke with local media about the upcoming season, including the transition to the 4-3 defense and his excitement to play on the same defensive line as second overall pick Chase Young. Kerrigan has been a Pro Bowl outside linebacker in three of the last four seasons while playing in a 3-4 defense, but he anticipates being just as effective as a defensive end. Kerrigan recorded double-digit sacks in three straight seasons before only putting up 5.5 last year. He missed four games with injury, though, snapping a streak of 139 straight games played. Kerrigan, along with Young and Montez Sweat, make up a formidable pass rush, making the Redskins Defense a potential streamer or bye-week replacement in 2020. Kerrigan also said that he'd like to finish his career in Washington.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
