Ryan Kreidler To Return To Action Friday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers infield prospect Ryan Kreidler (hand), who had surgery for a right hand fracture that he suffered on April 26, is scheduled to return to Triple-A Toledo's lineup on Friday. The 24-year-old was hitting .246 (16-for-65) with two doubles, four home runs, 12 RBI, nine walks and 22 strikeouts in 18 games for Toledo before he was hit by a pitch. The team's No. 6 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, hit .304 with seven home runs in 41 games for Toledo last year. With Javier Baez at shortstop at the major league level in Detroit, Kreidler's future at the next level could be at either second or third base.
