4 years agoTampa Bay Lightning defenseman Ryan McDonagh (lower body) will miss his first game of the season on Tuesday when the team visits Dallas. The veteran blueliner played less than seven minutes in Sunday's 5-3 victory over Florida and failed to recover for the Stanley Cup Finals rematch. The team starts a four-game road trip and head coach Jon Cooper has said that McDonagh might be back before it's finished, so the 31-year-old isn't too badly hurt. His first chance to return comes on Thursday against the Stars, and the team has a pair of games against Carolina over the weekend.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
