3 years agoColorado Rockies infielder Ryan McMahon appeared at three infield positions in 2021, playing stellar defense at first, second, and third base, but he might be tasked with playing shortstop in 2022. With Trevor Story's departure from the club a foregone conclusion, sliding McMahon over is one of several options the Rockies are considering. The 26-year-old was a Gold Glove finalist at the hot corner this past season. McMahon, who slashed .254/.331/.449 with 23 homers and six steals in 2021, would get a small bump in fantasy value with the added eligibility, but he wouldn't crack the top-10 at any one position.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
