Ryan McMahon Blasts Seventh Home Run Of The Year
4 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Ryan McMahon went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and two strikeouts in a 7-5 loss to the Phillies on Saturday. McMahon tied the game at 4-4 in the bottom of the fifth when he took Aaron Nola deep for his seventh long ball of the year, a two-run shot, for his only hit of the game. He also struck out twice in the contest and now owns an imperfect 18:1 K/BB ratio on the year. His rate stats have started to dip after his scorching hot start (.273/.282/.597) but fantasy managers can't complain about the seven home runs and 13 RBI. He's on pace to set a career-high in home runs this season but that should also come with plenty of strikeouts and a weak on-base percentage.
