3 years agoColorado Rockies infielder Ryan McMahon (calf) is sore after getting hit by a pitch in the calf during batting practice Monday and struck twice in Monday's win over the Texas Rangers. He was out of the lineup for Tuesday's contest and remains day-to-day. The 27-year-old's next chance to return will be Thursday, following the team's day off on Wednesday. McMahon is slashing .214/.353/.357 with an RBI over 17 plate appearances in 2022. Garrett Hampson drew the start at the hot corner and should see an uptick in at-bats while McMahon is sidelined.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
