Ryan McMahon Doubles In Loss To The Astros
3 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Ryan McMahon went 1-for-4 with a double and two strikeouts in a 5-0 loss to the Astros on Tuesday. Colorado couldn't get much of anything going on offense and Jake Odorizzi and company held them down all game. McMahon was one of five Rockies' to collect a hit and the only one to record an extra-base hit in the defeat. The 26-year-old has quietly been raking over the last 30 games, slashing .308/.413/.439 across 107 at-bats. He's been drawing more walks and striking out less but only has two home runs over that 30 game span. Overall, he's slashing .266/.337/.477 with 18 home runs, 58 RBI, and four stolen bases over 369 at-bats. He's been a solid fantasy contributor for most of the season, albeit an inconsistent one.
