Ryan McMahon Goes Deep In Win Over Philadelphia
3 years agoColorado Rockies infielder Ryan McMahon went 1-for-1 with a pinch-hit, two-run homer in a 4-3 win over the Philadelphia Phillies. McMahon didn't start this game and entered as a pinch-hitter in the top of the ninth inning with the Rockies trailing 2-1. He came through in a major way, taking Ian Kennedy deep for a two-run blast, his second home run in the last four games. He's now hit four bombs over the last 15 contests but has a paltry .191/.264/.489 batting line over that same span. For the year, the 26-year-old is slashing .257/.328/.459 with 22 home runs, 72 RBI, and four stolen bases across 460 at-bats.
