4 years agoColorado Rockies second baseman Ryan McMahon went 1-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored, one walk, and one strikeout in a 7-5 win over the Giants on Tuesday. McMahon saved his best effort for last in this one as he crushed a Gregory Santos offering for a two-run dinger in the top of the 10th inning. His eighth home run of the year gave the Rockies a 6-4 lead. The 26-year-old is now the owner of a seven-game hitting streak and is tied for the Major League lead in home runs with Ronald Acuna Jr. and Rhys Hoskins. He's slashing .273/.304/.591 with 15 RBI over 88 at-bats. This is starting to feel like a real breakout.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
