Ryan McMahon May Be Perking Up Again
3 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Ryan McMahon cooled off in June after a strong start to the season, but he went 1-for-3 with a run scored and RBI on Friday against the Cardinals, notching a hit for the fourth straight game. McMahon, who missed a few games in June while dealing with a minor forearm issue, slashed .276/.395/.671 during the month, though he's still on pace for a career year. The 26-year-old is batting .247 with a .790 OPS to go along with 16 home runs, 45 RBI and four stolen bases across 279 at-bats this season. McMahon can be started with confidence on Saturday night at home against St. Louis left-hander Wade LeBlanc.
