Ryan McMahon Picks Up Ninth Home Run On Saturday
3 years agoColorado Rockies' second baseman Ryan McMahon went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and two runs scored in a 6-5 extra-innings loss to the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday. McMahon put the Rockies on the board in the bottom of the first inning when he took Tyler Mahle deep for a two-run dinger. It was his only hit of the game and Colorado wouldn't score again until the bottom of the 11th inning. This was McMahon's first long ball since April 27 and his ninth of the season. He's now slashing a solid .265/.313/.503 with nine home runs and 26 RBI over 151 at-bats. He does have 34 strikeouts but fantasy managers can live with that as long as the power continues to play.
