Ryan McMahon Reaches Three Times In Wednesday's Loss
3 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Ryan McMahon went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, and a strikeout in a 3-2 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday. McMahon was one of three Rockies' to collect multiple hits in the defeat. He swatted his 21st double of the year and has gone 16- for-53 (.302/.431/.453) with a home run and eight RBI over the last 15 contests. He's still striking out a fair amount (17 K's over that span) but he has also drawn. 11 walks, which is an encouraging sign. Overall, the 26-year-old infielder is slashing .264/.336/.474 with 17 home runs, 55 RBI, and four stolen bases over 352 at-bats. He should remain a solid 2B/3B option down the stretch with the fantasy playoffs around the corner.
