Ryan McMahon Swats A Solo Home Run
3 years agoColorado Rockies' third baseman Ryan McMahon went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and two strikeouts in a 6-2 loss to the Reds on Sunday. McMahon pulled the Rockies to within one run in the top of the seventh inning when he took Heath Hembree deep for a solo home run. It was his 15th homer of the season but his only hit of the ball game. The 26-year-old has struggled in June with a .216 batting average and .676 OPS over 37 at-bats (11 games). Overall, he's slashing .252/.302/.500 with 15 home runs, 38 RBI, and three stolen bases across 234 at-bats. His batting average and slugging percentage have declined each month since the start of the season, which is something fantasy managers should keep an eye on.
