Ryan McMahon Swats Another Home Run In Loss
3 years agoColorado Rockies' third baseman Ryan McMahon went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and two strikeouts in a 3-1 loss to the Mets on Tuesday. McMahon accounted for the only Colorado run when he crushed a 99mph Jacob deGrom fastball over the wall in left-center field. It was an impressive piece of hitting for the 26-year-old. Unfortunately, the Rockies did little else in the game and ended up losing, falling to 19-30. McMahon has now blasted four home runs over the last five games and is up to 13 bombs on the year. He's slashing .258/.306/.527 with 31 runs scored, 10 doubles, and 31 RBI over 182 at-bats as well.
