3 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Ryan Mountcastle continued to put his power on display in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Red Sox, going 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, a walk, and two strikeouts. Mountcastle turned on a third-inning Nick Pivetta fastball, launching it into the O's bullpen to put them ahead. The 24-year-old has had quite the season after a very slow start, slashing .257/.312/.494 with 33 HR and 89 RBI. He has a chance to win Rookie of the Year and has definitely been a fantasy asset for those who stuck with him.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
