4 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Ryan Mountcastle went 1-for-4 with a two-run double and a strikeout in Friday's 3-0 win over the Red Sox. The 24-year-old got the start at designated hitter and batted fourth. Mountcastle's double hit high off the top of the Green Monster with the bases loaded in the sixth inning to score the first runs of the game. He showed why he is one of the O's higher-ranked prospects in 2020, slashing .333/.386/.492 with five home runs. Whether he plays first, outfield, or DH, Mountcastle should find himself in the O's lineup as long as he continues to hit.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
