4 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Ryan Mountcastle (hand) exited Tuesday's game against the Twins in the sixth inning after being hit by a pitch in the left hand. Mountcastle was struck with a sinker from Jose Berrios. He ran the bases but was replaced in the field the next half-inning. X-rays taken on his hand were negative, per MASNsports.com's Steve Melewski. It sounds like the O's and Mountcastle dodged a bullet, as he is one of their more promising young players.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
