4 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Ryan Mountcastle went 3-for-4 with two singles and a solo home run in Friday's 6-2 loss to the Red Sox. Mountcastle took a sixth-inning Hirokazu Sawamura fastball took straightaway center field for his second HR of the season. The 24-year-old had a very slow start to the season, but has picked things up lately, slashing .346/.357/.500 over his last seven games. Mountcastle had a solid 2020 season but is currently just 42% rostered in leagues, so he is worth keeping an eye on. He could be a solid waiver wire option if he can continue his hot streak.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
