4 years agoBaltimore Orioles first baseman/outfielder Ryan Mountcastle continued to disappoint at the plate in Wednesday's 3-0 loss to the Marlins, going 0-for-3 with a walk and two strikeouts. The 24-year-old had a solid 2020 campaign but has struggled mightily at the plate this season, compiling a .169/.203/.277 slash line with a 33.3% strikeout rate. While it is still early, it would not be unreasonable for fantasy managers who have started slow in shallower leagues to consider dropping Mountcastle for more immediate production.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
