6 years agoRoush Fenway Racing driver Ryan Newman posted a respectable seventh-place showing in Sunday's GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway. After a rough start to the season with no top-10 finishes in his first seven starts, Newman has rattled off three finishes of ninth or better, including his season-best seventh this weekend. He'll try to keep it going at Dover next Sunday, a track the Rocket Man has fared well over the years. Newman has three wins, seven Top 5s, 14 Top 10s and a 14.3 Average-Finish Position in 34 career Cup starts. He might be a decent DFS mid-tier play at the Monster Mile next Sunday.--Daniel Dobish
