3 years agoRyan Newman over the last month has finished outside the top 20 every single race. The prospects for this week's Ally 400 are not much better. Newman has struggled with a variety of issues and yet has not crashed. The Jack Roush Racing driver does not have the speed or grip to compete with anyone in the top ten. Those are the facts of late. Worse, mental mistakes by Newman and his pit crew have compounded issues. The last two intermediate tracks have seen the No. 6 Ford just lose position in runs of greater than ten laps. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
