6 years agoSt. Louis Blues center Ryan O'Reilly scored the opening goal of Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Finals against the Boston Bruins, and he also added an assist. O'Reilly ended up winning the Conn Smythe Award as the most valuable player in the playoffs. More importantly, the Blues were able to lock up their first-ever Stanley Cup, ending the NHL's longest drought. O'Reilly managed eight goals with 23 points and a plus-5 rating, including five goals in each of the past four games and the game-winning tally in Game 4. --Daniel Dobish
