5 years agoSt. Louis Blues forward Ryan O'Reilly picked up where he left off during last season's Conn Smythe and Stanley Cup run with two assists in a 3-2 loss to the Capitals in Wednesday's home opener. The Blues jumped out to an early 2-0 lead, feeding off the sold-out crowd and their banner-raising ceremony, but those goals Sammy Blais and Alex Pietrangelo provided were not enough as they blew the first-period lead. If last season's Cup run and this start are any indication, O'Reilly may be finally settled into this team and could prove to be a solid fantasy threat this season.--Nate Duffett
