3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-hander Ryan Pepiot has rejoined the team in Arizona and will be added to the active roster in order to start against the Diamondbacks on Friday. Right-hander Tony Gonsolin will get an extra day of rest and will toe the rubber on Saturday. Pepiot will be making his third major league start against the D-backs. The 24-year-old rookie fared well in his first two starts against the Pittsburgh Pirates and Diamondbacks, allowing three earned runs while walking eight and striking out eight in seven innings. He allowed all three runs to Arizona in four innings on May 17 in the first game of a doubleheader. The matchup is nice, but Pepiot's 6.57 FIP and 1.57 WHIP should concern those looking for a sleeper as a streamer.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
